Short summary
Language Science Press follows the Unified Style Sheet for Linguistics and the Generic Style Rules. The most important conventions are given below. Full guidelines with more details are found in the next section.
- no bold
- no underline
- no vertical lines in tables
- no Special Capitalization
- object language ‘gloss/translation’, “quotation”, “scare quote”
- acknowledgments in final section, not in footnote
- footnote number after punctuation, not before
- chapters in edited volumes need an abstract
- use a reference manager (e.g. Zotero)
